Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician specializing in pumps and diesel/gas generators to join our team in Dammam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and complete overhaul of various pump systems and generator units.
Key Responsibilities
Pump Systems: Inspect, troubleshoot, align, and repair centrifugal, submersible, booster, and hydraulic pumps. Replace mechanical seals, bearings, impellers, and gaskets.
Generators: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel/gas generators (engine overhauls, fuel system checks, oil/filter changes, and cooling system maintenance).
Testing & Diagnostics: Conduct load testing, pressure checks, and performance tests to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
Site Operations: Diagnose mechanical failures on-site, execute root-cause analysis, and minimize operational downtime.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and technical manuals.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Diploma or ITI / Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in pump and generator maintenance and repair.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engines, alignment techniques, hydraulic principles, and mechanical component overhauls.
Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Transferable Iqama: Preferred for immediate deployment.
