Please be informed that there have been reports of a group of thieves operating in the Batha area, particularly around the surroundings of Lulu Hypermarket. They are targeting mobile phones, laptops, wallets, and cash.
Their common tactic is to deliberately spit on a person's clothes and then approach the victim, apologizing and pretending that it was an accident. They will then offer to help clean the clothes and create a distraction. During this process, they may steal mobile phones, wallets, or other valuables from your pockets without you noticing.
Therefore, I kindly request everyone to remain vigilant and take extra precautions when visiting this area. Please do not allow strangers to come too close to you or touch you under the pretense of helping to clean your clothes.
Stay alert, keep your valuables secure, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation.
Best Regards,
