Position Overview
We are seeking a high caliber, with hands-on experienced Filtration Technical Sales Engineer. The ideal applicant is someone with experience across the entire filtration spectrum (air, oil, and water). Must have a mechanical engineer background.
Key Responsibilities
• System Design & Sizing: Evaluate technical specs and size filtration packages across all streams—intake/compressed air filtration, lube and hydraulic oil systems, and industrial process/produced water treatment.
• Field Engineering & Commissioning: Supervise installation, pre-commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of filter vessels, coalescers, cartridge filters, strainers, and separation skids on-site.
• Technical Sourcing & Proposals: Prepare technical datasheets, bills of quantities (BOQs), and bid compliance matrices for client filtration packages.
• Reliability & Troubleshooting: Perform root-cause analysis on premature filter clogging, differential pressure spikes, bypass issues, and media degradation.
• Client & Vendor Management: Interface with operations managers, plant engineers, and international filtration OEMs to ensure on-time, compliant project execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (accredited by the Saudi Council of Engineers - SCE).
• Filtration Expertise: Documented hands-on technical background across the complete filtration spectrum: Air, Oil, and Water systems.
• Regional Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), directly supporting oil & gas, power generation, refining, or water desalination operations.
• Standards & Codes: Familiarity with ASME Section VIII (pressure vessels), API (614, 682, 14F), ISO cleanliness standards (e.g., ISO 4406 for oil contamination), and relevant local vendor approvals (Aramco 9COM/9CAT standards is a strong advantage).
• Certifications: Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration and a valid Saudi driver's license.
• Language: Professional fluency in English (verbal and written); Arabic proficiency is an asset.
