Position Summary
The restaurant cleaner ensures that all public and back-of-house areas meet strict hygiene and sanitation standards. This role directly supports food safety and contributes to a positive first impression for every guest.

Key Responsibilities
• Sanitize Surfaces: Wipe and disinfect dining tables, chairs, booths, counters, and high-touch touchpoints throughout the shift.
• Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub hard floors and carpets in both front-of-house and kitchen spaces.
• Restroom Upkeep: Clean toilets, sinks, mirrors, and tile floors, and restock soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Waste Management: Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly, and dispose of waste in designated outdoor containers.
• Deep Cleaning: Perform periodic or closing duties, such as scrubbing kitchen equipment, washing interior windows, and clearing vents.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all local health codes, sanitation regulations, and safe chemical handling guidelines.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift heavy items (typically 25 to 50 lbs).
• Chemical Knowledge: Understanding of safe dilution, usage, and storage rules for industrial cleaning products.
• Reliability: Punctual attendance and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, especially during early morning or late-night closing shifts.
• Communication: Capable of reporting maintenance issues, inventory shortages, or safety hazards to management
