Job Description:
Responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software based on engineering designs, specifications, and project requirements. Works closely with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate and meet project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
Create and modify architectural, structural, mechanical, or civil drawings.
Convert sketches and engineering specifications into detailed CAD drawings.
Prepare plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
Update drawings according to revisions and site requirements.
Maintain proper drawing layers, dimensions, scales, and annotations.
Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain drawing files and document revisions.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other departments.
Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, layers, and drafting standards.
MS Office knowledge.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Typical Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman is preferred.
