Job Title: Quality Officer – Warehouse
Job Description:
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards throughout warehouse operations. Ensures that incoming, stored, and outgoing products meet company specifications and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect incoming materials and products for quality and quantity.
Check products for damage, defects, expiry dates, and packaging condition.
Monitor proper storage and handling of materials.
Conduct regular warehouse quality inspections.
Maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality reports.
Identify and report non-conforming products or materials.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to resolve quality issues.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO procedures are followed where applicable.
Monitor cleanliness, organization, and proper storage conditions.
Support stock checks and product verification.
Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and standards.
Prepare daily/weekly quality reports for management.
Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when required.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of warehouse quality control procedures.
Knowledge of inspection and documentation.
Good MS Excel and MS Word skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of basic HSE and workplace safety requirements.
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
