Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and identify new RFQs, RFPs, tenders and procurement opportunities through SAP Ariba.
- Review tender documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings, scope of work and commercial requirements.
- Download and organize complete tender documents from SAP Ariba and other client portals.
- Prepare BOQ pricing, estimates and commercial proposals.
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with technical, procurement, estimation and project teams for tender preparation.
- Prepare complete technical and commercial proposals as per client requirements.
- Submit quotations, bids and proposals through SAP Ariba within the specified deadlines.
- Prepare clarification requests and coordinate responses with clients when required.
- Maintain a proper tender/bid tracking system for submitted, pending, awarded and unsuccessful tenders.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and maintain records of tender correspondence.
- Assist management in reviewing pricing, margins, commercial conditions and final bid submissions.
- Identify potential projects and tender opportunities relevant to the company's business activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tendering, estimation, proposal preparation or procurement.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing/Network is mandatory.
- Strong experience in reviewing and pricing BOQs, drawings and specifications.
- Experience preparing and submitting technical and commercial proposals.
- Good knowledge of construction, MEP, infrastructure, civil works and/or heavy equipment projects.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, Word and PDF documentation.
- Good understanding of supplier/subcontractor quotation comparison and cost estimation.
- Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender submission deadlines.
- Previous experience working with Saudi Arabian contractors, clients or major organizations will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience dealing with major Saudi clients and procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Etimad and other client/vendor portals will be preferred.
