### **📌 Role Summary**
The Steel Structure Supervisor oversees all on‑site steel fabrication, erection, alignment, and finishing activities. Ensures compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating manpower, materials, and subcontractors for smooth execution.

### **📌 Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise daily steel structure erection activities including columns, beams, trusses, platforms, and staircases.
- Review and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and erection plans.
- Ensure all fabrication and installation works comply with project specifications, IFC drawings, and QA/QC standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, foremen, welders, fabricators, and rigging teams to ensure timely progress.
- Monitor welding activities (SMAW, MIG, TIG) and ensure WPS/PQR compliance.
- Inspect bolt tightening, torqueing, alignment, leveling, and verticality of steel members.
- Ensure proper usage of lifting equipment, cranes, and rigging tools as per safety guidelines.
- Prepare daily progress reports, manpower allocation sheets, and material consumption logs.
- Identify site issues, propose solutions, and escalate critical matters to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE protocols, permit-to-work systems, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections, MIRs, WIRs, and closure of NCRs.
- Verify availability of materials, consumables, and tools required for steel works.
- Support project planning, sequencing, and erection methodology development.
