Job Responsibilities
Ensuring readiness of buildings for handover
Verifying compliance with design and specifications
Monitoring testing & commissioning activities
Identifying and closing gaps prior to acceptance
Supporting FMD in technical evaluation and decision-making
Inspect new and existing buildings for compliance with building codes and other regulations
Inspect building sites to ensure they meet safety and zoning requirements
Make recommendations to improve safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency
Test electrical wiring, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other systems to ensure they meet code
Identify and document code violations and provide guidance or recommendations for correction
Create reports documenting inspections and violations
Issue notices and citations for violations
Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure code violations have been corrected
Provide guidance to contractors and property owners about code requirements
