Job Description
We are currently seeking a qualified Scaffold Supervisor to supervise scaffolding activities at construction sites, ensuring safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling in compliance with HSE standards.
Job Purpose
Supervise all scaffolding activities at the project site
Ensure safe and proper erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds
Maintain compliance with project HSE standards and safety procedures
Key Responsibilities
Supervise scaffolders and coordinate daily scaffolding activities
Ensure scaffolds are erected and dismantled as per approved procedures and standards
Conduct regular scaffold inspections and ensure proper tagging
Check scaffolds for stability, access, guardrails, toe boards, bracing, and safe working platforms
Ensure scaffolding materials and components are in good condition
Identify and rectify unsafe conditions and practices
Coordinate with HSE and construction teams
Conduct toolbox talks and communicate scaffold-related hazards
Maintain scaffold inspection and related safety records
Stop work immediately in case of unsafe scaffolding conditions
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline preferred
Strong command of English
Valid Scaffold Supervisor / Scaffold Inspector certification preferred
Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and procedures
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience as a Scaffold Supervisor in the construction industry
Experience in large-scale construction, EPC, or industrial projects preferred
