We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator – Construction to coordinate and monitor MEP activities across construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and other building services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily MEP activities with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams.
Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, and other MEP installations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, layouts, schematics, and technical specifications.
Coordinate MEP services with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Identify and resolve MEP clashes, technical issues, and site coordination problems.
Monitor MEP installation progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
Supervise and coordinate MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and rectification works.
Coordinate MEP material requirements, deliveries, and site requirements with procurement and project teams.
Assist with RFIs, material submittals, inspection requests, method statements, and other project documentation.
Attend coordination meetings and provide updates on MEP progress and technical issues.
Maintain records of MEP activities, inspections, progress, and site issues.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and applicable Bahrain construction requirements.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
3–5+ years of relevant MEP construction/coordination experience.
Strong building construction experience is required.
Experience with villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise projects is preferred.
Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP, shop, architectural, and structural drawings.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple site teams.
Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is preferred.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
