We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring MEP works on building construction projects, ensuring that all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, with experience in villas, high-rise buildings, residential, or commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily MEP construction activities on site.
Manage and monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting installations.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical documents.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing teams.
Supervise MEP subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, productivity, and work progress.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper quality of MEP installations.
Identify and resolve technical issues, clashes, and site coordination problems.
Review material submittals, method statements, inspection requests, and technical submissions.
Coordinate MEP testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, and final handover.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
Prepare daily and weekly MEP progress reports and maintain project documentation.
Assist with material planning, quantity verification, procurement requirements, and project scheduling.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable Bahrain construction regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.
3–7 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience with high-rise buildings, large villas, residential, or commercial projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP/shop drawings and technical specifications.
Experience supervising subcontractors and site installation teams.
Knowledge of MEP installation, testing, commissioning, QA/QC, and HSE procedures.
Good communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, and MS Office knowledge will be an advantage.
Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.

Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
Candidates with hands-on Bahrain construction experience are preferred.
Experience with high-rise buildings and large villa projects is an advantage.
