I'm an Environmental & Social Coordinator on the Umm Hadid silver exploration project in Saudi Arabia. Before that I worked on a 5,600-villa housing development in Riyadh and on World Bank-funded infrastructure in Pakistan. I have 5+ years across mining, construction and public infrastructure. I'm SCE accredited, an ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor (CQI/IRCA), NEBOSH IGC certified, and a LEED Green Associate.
What I do on site
Run the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP) to NCEC requirements and ISO 14001:2015
Monitor air quality, noise, waste, wastewater and spill prevention, then act on what the data shows
Control dust and noise, protect terrestrial ecology, and close out drill sites with approved rehabilitation checklists
Handle hazardous waste: segregation, lined pit management, classification and disposal
Run the Grievance Redress Mechanism, stakeholder meetings, local procurement and Saudization programs
Lead spill, fire and emergency drills, plus toolbox talks and contractor training
Write monthly environmental performance and sustainability reports for management and regulators

Mining: Umm Hadid exploration project, Al Hassat, Riyadh Region
Construction: Murcia Housing Project, 5,600 villas and 18 buildings, with CESMP, construction waste management and daily compliance inspections
Infrastructure: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Accessibility Project (World Bank), and the DASU Hydropower resettlement project
Tools and methods: Environmental risk assessment, IEE/EIA, CESMP, incident investigation and corrective action, biodiversity conservation, and data analysis and visualization.
