Position Summary
--------------------------
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with strong hands-on exposure in industrial plants, mechanical maintenance, equipment overhauling, and site execution. The candidate should be capable of independently supervising mechanical works, coordinating technicians and helpers, estimating manpower and spare parts, and ensuring all activities are completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute mechanical maintenance and overhauling activities in industrial plants.
- Lead assigned technicians and helpers to complete mechanical works safely and within the planned schedule.
- Perform and supervise maintenance of rotary and static equipment.
- Carry out equipment dismantling, inspection, alignment, installation, reassembly, and commissioning activities.
- Support and execute RO Plant mechanical maintenance activities.
- Perform millwright-related activities, including equipment alignment, leveling, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Estimate required manpower, labor hours, tools, consumables, and spare parts for mechanical overhauling projects.
- Prepare material requests and coordinate with the concerned departments for required spare parts and consumables.
- Prepare technical reports, job completion reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with project/site management regarding work progress, technical issues, and resource requirements.
- Ensure all mechanical activities comply with industrial safety standards, site procedures, and permit requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Identify technical issues and provide practical solutions during project execution.
- Support planning and execution of shutdown, turnaround, maintenance, and mechanical overhauling projects.
Experience Requirements

- Proven experience working in industrial plants is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with RO Plants.
- Strong hands-on experience in rotary and static equipment overhauling.
- Practical experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, alignment, and troubleshooting.
- Previous experience supervising technicians and helpers in industrial maintenance or project environments.
- Experience in estimating manpower, labor requirements, spare parts, and consumables for mechanical projects is highly preferred.

- Strong mechanical and millwright capabilities.
- Ability to independently execute and supervise assigned mechanical jobs.
- Good knowledge of industrial safety standards and safe working practices.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good leadership and team coordination skills.
- Ability to prepare material requests, work reports, and technical documentation.
- Basic to good computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
Qualification

- Technical Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Relevant industrial certifications and safety training will be an added advantage.
