I am currently looking for a new opportunity in Electrical QA/QC Engineering or QA/QC Inspection where I can contribute my technical experience, ensure quality compliance, and support successful project delivery within a professional engineering team.
Technical Experience:
* Implement site electrical quality control per approved Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and SEC, SBC 401, IEC, and NEC specifications.
* Inspect installation of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, Ring Main Units (RMU), distribution boards (MDB, SMDB, MCC), UPS systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
* Raise and coordinate site Request for Inspection (RFI) and Work Inspection Request (WIR) submissions for containment, cable routing, termination, and megger testing with high first-time approval rates.
* Coordinate joint inspections with main contractors and consultant inspectors, tracking open inspection comments to resolution so site work proceeds without delays.
* Witness pre-commissioning tests including insulation resistance (megger), continuity, earth loop impedance, earth pit resistance, and high-voltage withstand (hi-pot) testing.
* Perform receiving material inspections (MIR/MAR) for incoming site deliveries against approved submittals, Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and project BOQs.
* Issue, manage, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and punch lists following Root Cause Analysis (CAPA) before client project handover.
* Verify embedded and exposed conduit, earthing, lightning protection, equipotential bonding, cable tray alignment, trunking, and fire-stopping at penetrations against Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings.
* Inspect panelboard wiring, phase rotation, busbar torquing, and ferrule numbering prior to system energisation.
* Verify calibration certificates of site testing and measuring equipment, including multimeters, meggers, earth testers, and torque wrenches.
* Review method statements, material submittals, cable schedules, and red-line/as-built drawings.
* Assemble comprehensive QA/QC handover dossiers, including cable schedules, test reports, megger logs, and signed inspection records.
* Maintain ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and compliance logs across all site electrical installations.
Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a valid and transferable Iqama based in Riyadh.
