ob Summary
Design, develop, test, install, operate, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure — including power generation, transmission, distribution, and control systems. Ensure all work meets safety codes, industry standards, and project requirements while delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective electrical power solutions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
Design electrical circuits, power networks, substations, transformers, switchgear, wiring, and control systems
Prepare technical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and specifications using CAD/CAE software
Perform load, voltage drop, short-circuit, and power-flow calculations; select appropriate equipment and protection devices
Evaluate system performance, recommend upgrades, and integrate renewable energy (solar, wind, battery storage) where applicable
Installation, Testing & Commissioning
Supervise or participate in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems
Troubleshoot faults, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
Conduct inspections and performance tests to verify compliance with design, safety, and operational standards
Maintenance & Operations
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems
Monitor power system operation, analyze outages, and implement reliability improvements
Ensure adherence to electrical safety regulations, NEC/IEC, and local codes; promote a safe working environment
Project & Technical Management
Estimate costs, prepare budgets, and schedule electrical engineering activities
Coordinate with contractors, technicians, other engineers, and stakeholders across disciplines
Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, operation & maintenance manuals
Procure and inspect electrical materials and equipment for conformance to specifications
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
Experience: 2–5+ years in power systems, utilities, construction, industrial, or renewable energy projects.
Must have BMS strong background
