DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Verifying that materials used in construction (like concrete, steel, aggregates,etc.) meet
the required specifications, including reviewing material test certificates and conducting
on-site checks.
 Monitoring the quality of workmanship during various construction activities, such as
excavation, foundation work, concrete pouring, reinforcement placement, and structural
steel erection.
 Ensuring that construction activities are carried out according to approved
Procedures and standards, including monitoring atmospheric conditions during
concrete pouring and curing.
 Verifying that the construction complies with relevant safety regulations, industry
standards, and the project's quality control plan.
 Review of ITP'S/Check lists Includes red line drawings and "as-built" plans to ensure
accuracy and compliance.
 Perform various inspections during the construction phase, including visual inspections,
material checks, and testing.
 They monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project standards,
specifications, and safety procedure
 Prepare reports, including surveillance reports, Proactive notification , and LBE/NCR
(Non-Conformance Report) documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Conduct all types of Inspection as per approved Inspection &Test plan (ITP).
 Check the detailed survey and Lay-out of structures before the execution of construction
activities.
 Inspecting the field activities such as excavation, backfilling, compaction testing. Rebar
& formwork installation & concreting pouring.
 To ensure that all reinforcement is properly and securely fixed into position to prevent
displacement during concrete work and to maintain proper concrete cover.
 To check that the formwork is clean, free from extraneous matter and the release agent
has been correctly applied.
 Inspection of FBE rebar’s, formwork and concrete pouring of structures.
 Witness the slump test and temperature test of concrete.
 To finish concrete surface as per standard requirements and arrange proper curing
arrangements.
 Witness testing of material accordance to contract specifications.
 Supervise and control the quality of works at the site.
 Review of drawings, test reports & specifications.
 Preparation of two weeks looks ahead inspection schedule.
 Recommend procedure and guide line for rectification of deficiency and NCR.
 Issue and closing of INCR’S.
 Ensure execution of work according to specifications and drawings.
 Reporting to QC Supervisor / QC Manager for problems and issues.
 Co-ordination with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers before pouring of concrete or
execution of other works.
 Check and confirm the mixing of concrete as per mix design provided.
