Key Responsibilities:-
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials according to production requirements.
Monitor production schedules and ensure orders are completed on time.
Supervise printing, packaging, finishing, cutting, folding, laminating, and other production processes as applicable.
Ensure production is carried out according to approved specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team regarding breakdowns and technical issues.
Check raw materials, printing materials, packaging materials, and other production requirements.
Minimize production waste, material consumption, downtime, and rejected products.
Conduct regular quality checks during the production process and take corrective action when required.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of finished products and work-in-progress materials.
Lead, train, and supervise production workers and operators.
Prepare and maintain daily production reports, manpower reports, machine downtime reports, and production records.
Coordinate with the Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, and Sales/Customer Service departments to ensure smooth production.
Monitor employee attendance, productivity, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
Ensure all employees follow safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Identify production problems and implement practical solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S standards are maintained within the production area.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost control.
Perform any other production-related duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Production, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
3–5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor, preferably in a printing and packaging factory.
Strong practical knowledge of printing and packaging production processes.
Experience with production planning, manpower management, quality control, and machine operations.
Experience in handling production targets, deadlines, and high-volume orders.
Good knowledge of workplace safety and production quality standards.
Ability to read and understand production specifications and work instructions.
Experience in reducing production waste and improving productivity is an advantage.
