Kyptec Automation® provides a USB 3.0 camera cable for industrial imaging systems that require USB connectivity with a secured Type-C connection on the camera side. The cable has been designed to combine high-speed data transmission with the additional mechanical retention required in professional machine vision and factory-automation installations.

The camera-side USB Type-C Male connector incorporates a locking thumbscrew arrangement designed to provide a more secure connection than an ordinary non-locking USB connector. The opposite end uses a USB 3.0 Type-A Male interface for connection to compatible host equipment. This configuration allows machine vision system designers to connect suitable Type-C industrial cameras while retaining a standard USB Type-A connection at the computer or processing side.

Cable lengths of 2 Meter, 3 Meter and 5 Meter are available, while other lengths can be requested according to system requirements. The highly flexible PVC cable construction is intended for industrial and factory-automation use where cable durability and manageable routing are important.
