Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customs Clearance & Transportation Coordinator to join our growing logistics and freight forwarding team in Riyadh.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage customs clearance activities for imports and exports.
- Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation in accordance with Saudi regulations.
- Liaise with customs authorities, government portals, shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely movement of cargo.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with all customs, transportation, and trade regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and transportation activities.
- Work closely with operations, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide regular updates to customers regarding shipment and clearance status.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi customs procedures and import/export regulations.
- Experience dealing with customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and government platforms.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
Mandatory Requirement
Customs Clearance and Transportation experience is mandatory. Applicants without direct hands-on experience in both customs clearance and transportation operations within the freight forwarding industry will not be considered.
