The selected candidate will initially work from the technical office, supporting piping drawings, layouts, material coordination and installation planning. During the construction phase, the role will transition to site supervision, ensuring piping works are executed correctly and in accordance with approved drawings and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and coordinate piping layouts, GA drawings, isometrics and related engineering documents.
* Prepare/review piping routing, supports, connection details and material requirements.
* Coordinate with procurement, fabrication and site teams for piping materials and fittings.
* Prepare or support BOQs, material take-offs and technical submittals.
* Resolve piping-related technical queries during fabrication and installation.
* Supervise piping installation activities at site.
* Ensure installation is in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and good engineering practice.
* Coordinate inspections, testing, flushing and completion activities with QA/QC and client representatives.
* Maintain red-line drawings and support preparation of as-built documentation.
* Coordinate with mechanical equipment, tanks, pumps, filters and other package interfaces.
Main Piping Materials
* PVC / uPVC piping systems
* HDPE piping systems
* Exposure to SS piping will be considered an advantage.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Previous experience in water treatment, RO, wastewater, utility or industrial piping projects is preferred.
* Good practical knowledge of PVC and HDPE piping, fittings, valves, flanges and joining methods.
* Ability to read and understand P&IDs, piping layouts and equipment drawings.
* Experience with HDPE butt fusion/electrofusion and PVC solvent/cemented or flanged piping systems is desirable.
* Familiarity with AutoCAD is strongly preferred.
* Capable of working independently in a small project team and handling both office engineering and site responsibilities.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Candidates available in Saudi Arabia / available for early mobilization will be preferred.
