Carry out site surveys and prepare technical feasibility reports, reviewing project requirements, designs, specifications, drawings, BOQs, and applicable codes and standards.
Review project engineering documents, material selections, shop drawings, and technical submittals to ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, and applicable standards.
Monitor and supervise HVAC installation works, including AHUs, FCUs, package units, ductwork, chilled/DX piping, insulation, supports, and associated mechanical works in accordance with ASHRAE standards and project requirements.
Coordinate and follow up on Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB), Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems through completion, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Supervise fire fighting system installations, including sprinklers, hydrants, wet risers, piping, and related equipment, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, NFPA standards, Civil Defense requirements, and project specifications.
Monitor plumbing installations, including water supply, drainage, sanitary systems, and associated piping works in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable Saudi Plumbing Code (SBC) requirements.
Witness and coordinate plumbing testing activities, including pressure tests, gravity/drainage tests, flushing, and disinfection.
Prepare and coordinate QA/QC documentation, including Material Approval Requests (MAR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements (MOS), inspection requests, and related quality documents.
Prepare method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and other technical documentation for consultant and client approval.
Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, civil, architectural, structural, and other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes and site constraints.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution of mechanical works.
Attend technical and coordination meetings with consultants, clients, contractors, and project management, following up on technical comments and required actions.
Monitor site progress and ensure mechanical works are executed in accordance with approved IFC/shop drawings, specifications, ASHRAE, NFPA, Saudi Building Code (SBC), Saudi Plumbing Code, and other applicable project standards.
Manage consultant and client technical reviews, inspections, approvals, and site observations to ensure quality and compliance.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports and provide updates on site activities, manpower, inspections, testing, and project progress.
Ensure correct drawing procedures are followed and assist in reviewing, updating, and coordinating shop drawings and construction details.
Prepare and review as-built drawings, testing and commissioning records, and final project documentation.
Support project handover by ensuring all mechanical works, inspections, testing, commissioning, documentation, and outstanding items are completed and closed.
