The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior and exterior design, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings while also contributing creatively to design development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed interior and exterior technical drawings and construction documentation.
Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, reflected ceiling plans, and other technical drawings.
Develop and refine interior design concepts from initial ideas through design development.
Contribute to exterior and architectural design development.
Develop basic to advanced landscape design concepts and drawings.
Prepare 3D models, visualizations, and design presentations.
Coordinate drawings and design information with the design team and consultants.
Assist in material selection, detailing, and design development.
Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with Node Design Studio's design standards.
Participate in project development from concept stage through technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of interior design and technical detailing.
Strong understanding of exterior design and architectural drawings.
Ability to develop landscape design concepts.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
Strong knowledge of 3ds Max and/or other 3D visualization software.
Proficiency in other relevant design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
Ability to read, understand, and develop technical drawings independently.
Good understanding of materials, construction methods, and interior/exterior detailing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with the design team.
Good design sense with an understanding of contemporary and refined design.
Preferred
Previous experience working on high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
Experience in both design development and technical documentation.
Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a combination of design, technical drawings, and 3D visualization.
