Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Saudi Arabia.
The ideal candidate must have 3–4 years of hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with specific and proven experience working on Ashok Leyland buses.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of diesel engines, bus mechanical systems, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, engine repair, and heavy vehicle maintenance. Experience specifically with Ashok Leyland buses is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of Ashok Leyland buses.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine and mechanical problems.
- Carry out preventive and routine maintenance of buses.
- Inspect and repair diesel engines and related components.
- Perform engine troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling when required.
- Inspect and repair transmission, clutch, brakes, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems.
- Identify and rectify engine faults, abnormal sounds, vibrations, smoke, oil leaks, and other mechanical issues.
- Repair or replace defective mechanical and engine components.
- Check and maintain cooling systems, radiators, belts, hoses, and related components.
- Perform clutch and brake maintenance and repairs.
- Carry out suspension and steering system repairs.
- Ensure buses are maintained in safe and roadworthy condition.
- Conduct preventive inspections before and after maintenance work.
- Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment correctly.
- Maintain proper records of maintenance and repair work.
