Al Moallam Group is looking for vibration Technicians who are locally available and can join immediately. The candidates should have the following:

Job Summary

The Vibration Technician is responsible for conducting vibration monitoring, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance activities on rotating equipment to identify potential mechanical faults, prevent unexpected equipment failures, and improve equipment reliability and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine vibration measurements and condition monitoring on rotating equipment, including pumps, motors, compressors, fans, blowers, gearboxes, and turbines.
Collect vibration data using portable vibration analyzers and online monitoring systems.
Analyze vibration readings and identify potential faults such as imbalance, misalignment, looseness, bearing defects, and gear-related issues.
Monitor equipment vibration trends and identify abnormal operating conditions.
Prepare vibration analysis reports and recommend corrective maintenance actions.
Support predictive maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
Coordinate with maintenance and reliability engineers to investigate equipment failures and recurring problems.
Conduct vibration checks before and after equipment maintenance or overhauling.
Maintain accurate equipment condition records, inspection reports, and vibration databases.
Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting of rotating equipment failures.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures, site requirements, and maintenance standards.
Report critical vibration conditions promptly to the concerned supervisor or engineer.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in vibration monitoring and condition-based maintenance.
Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting rotating machinery in industrial, petrochemical, oil and gas, or manufacturing facilities.
Knowledge of vibration analysis techniques, frequency spectrum analysis, FFT, and vibration trending.
Familiarity with vibration analyzers, accelerometers, and condition monitoring software.
Knowledge of common mechanical failure modes and rotating equipment maintenance practices.
Understanding of applicable vibration standards, such as ISO 20816, is an advantage.
Vibration analysis certification, such as ISO 18436-2 Category I or II, is preferred.

Good knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
