We are looking for E and I Technician for Skid Assembly.
Job Role:
Perform Electrical and Instrumentation Installation, Wiring, Termination, Testing auxiliary skids.
Key responsibilities:
Able to read Drawings - Electrical Schematics, Wiring diagrams, Termination Drawings, and Cable Schedules.
Assemble and Install Cable Trays, Electrical Conduits, and associated supports inside and outside skid enclosures.
Install Junction Boxes, Electrical and Instrumentation Devices according to approved drawings and work instructions.
Route, lay, dress, and secure power, control, and instrumentation cables, maintaining the required segregation and bend radius.
Prepare cable ends; install cable glands, lugs, ferrules, and terminals; and complete cable terminations at instruments, valves, actuators, electrical devices, and junction boxes.
Complete wiring according to wiring diagrams, termination schedules, and cable schedules.
Install cable identification tags, wire markers, and equipment tags, ensuring identification matches the drawings.
Install and verify grounding and bonding connections.
Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and wiring verification tests using appropriate test instruments.
Support and perform loop checks and functional testing of valves, instruments, and electrical devices under approved procedures and supervision.
Identify and troubleshoot wiring faults, incorrect terminations, and installation defects.
Use electrical tools, crimping tools, measuring instruments, and power hand tools.
Mandatory qualifications and experience
Electrical Trade Certificate or Diploma in Electrical. Candidates must provide supporting certificates.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
