Our Company is seeking a Planning Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in planning and project controls for Civil infrastructure projects.
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for preparing, updating and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with engineering, procurement and construction teams, tracking actual progress against planned progress, identifying delays and supporting project recovery plans.
The role includes preparation of baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, progress reports, manpower and equipment histograms, S-curves, productivity analysis, cash-flow forecasts and management dashboards.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Planning Engineer / Project Controls Engineer.
- Experience in Civil
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Good working knowledge of MS Project, Excel and MS Office.
- Experience preparing and maintaining:
- Baseline and recovery schedules
- Weekly and monthly progress reports
- Two-week / three-week look-ahead schedules
- S-curves
- Manpower and equipment histograms
- Planned vs actual progress analysis
- Critical path and delay analysis
- Procurement and engineering schedules
- Project dashboards and KPI reports
- Ability to coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, HSE and commercial teams.
- Good understanding of project milestones, contractual requirements and project-control procedures.
- Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary site environment.
- Immediate availability / Saudi Arabia experience will be an advantage.
