Responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards, project requirements, and applicable regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits to prevent accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions. Monitor high-risk activities, including work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, hot work, excavation, and electrical work, ensuring compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher training to promote safety awareness among employees and subcontractors. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain good housekeeping, investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with project management, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve safety concerns, maintain HSE documentation and reports, and promote a proactive safety culture with the objective of achieving zero accidents and a safe working environment for all personnel.
