Location: Saudi Arabia
A company operating in façade manufacturing and construction projects is seeking a Contracts Specialist to carry out detailed contract reviews, identify risks, and recommend amendments before agreements are signed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review client contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related contractual documents.
• Examine scope, payment terms, milestones, variations, warranties, liabilities, indemnities, termination, and dispute resolution clauses.
• Identify ambiguous wording, conflicting obligations, contractual gaps, and commercial risks.
• Prepare clause-by-clause comments, contract summaries, and proposed amendments.
• Support contract negotiations and clarify obligations with internal teams and counterparties.
• Coordinate with management and legal advisers on matters requiring legal review.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience reviewing construction or engineering contracts.
• Proven ability to interpret complex clauses and prepare clear, practical recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, contractual risk allocation, and FIDIC forms.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and written English.
• Experience in façade, subcontracting, or manufacturing agreements is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabia or GCC construction projects is preferred.
