We are looking for a skilled and experienced Milling and Lathe Machine Operator to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manual and/or conventional milling and lathe machines to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
Set up, adjust, and operate lathe and milling machines safely and efficiently.
Perform precision machining work including turning, facing, threading, boring, and milling.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and raw materials for each job.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools to ensure strict quality standards.
Perform routine daily maintenance and cleaning of machines and equipment.
Troubleshoot operational issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Milling and Lathe Machine Operator in an industrial or workshop environment.
Strong ability to read technical drawings and measurement instruments (Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Dial Gauge).
Practical knowledge of metals, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining tolerances.
Strong attention to detail, precision, and adherence to safety protocols.
