• Site Supervision: Manage daily site activities, labor teams, and subcontractors (such as masons, carpenters, and tilers).
• Finishing & Civil Works: Oversee demolition, core/shell or structural openings, drywall/gypsum partitions, false ceilings, raised
flooring, masonry, and tiling.
• Drawings & Measurements: Check site dimensions and coordinate actual site conditions with architectural and shop drawings.
• Quality & Safety (QA/QC): Enforce site safety rules (like personal protective equipment usage) and monitor workmanship to meet
project standards.
• Progress Tracking: Maintain daily logs, monitor material usage, and report site progress to project engineers or managers.
Typical Requirements:
• Experience: 5 to 7 years of field experience in interior fit-out or civil construction.
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is commonly preferred by employers.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of interior materials, coordination of MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) rough-ins, and local site
safety standards.
