The floor platform allows heavy products such as sacks, cartons, drums, bins, and containers to be positioned for measurement. A digital indicator displays the result clearly and may offer tare, zero, gross/net, hold, or accumulation functions. Capacity and deck size should be selected according to the loads handled most frequently.
Businesses should also consider floor conditions, available space, power requirements, and the operating environment before installation. A suitable floor scale can support receiving, inventory management, production monitoring, packaging, and dispatch checks. For Kampala businesses, a durable digital weighing system can provide a convenient measurement point while helping staff maintain more consistent records of heavy goods.
