The cable uses straight RJ-45 connectors at both ends and incorporates shielded foiled twisted-pair copper construction to help reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between adjacent pairs. Gold-plated connector contacts are used to support stable electrical connectivity and resistance to oxidation, while the cable is described by Kyptec Automation® as Fluke-test passed.
The industrial cable uses 26 AWG conductors and highly flexible PVC construction, with a black outer sheath designed to provide UV resistance, abrasion resistance and water-repellent characteristics. Available lengths include 2 Meter, 3 Meter, 5 Meter and 10 Meter, with additional lengths available on request.
For machine vision applications, high-speed Ethernet cabling can become increasingly important when industrial cameras and connected processing systems generate large data streams. The CAT 8 specification provides substantial available bandwidth while retaining the familiar RJ-45 connector format. This makes the Kyptec Automation® CAT 8 cable suitable for machine vision camera connections, industrial computer systems and other demanding Ethernet-based installations where high data throughput and shielded cable construction are important design requirements.
