Position: Technical Architecture Engineer – Material MPA (Material Submittals amp; Quantity Take-Off)
Experience Required: 10+ YearsChina Railway 18 Bureau is seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Architecture Engineer specializing in Material MPA, material submittals, and quantity take-off for high-rise building and 4-star/5-star hotel projects.
👌Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and manage architectural material submittals in accordance with project specifications and approved standards.
Prepare and verify architectural material quantity take-offs (QTO) from IFC drawings, BOQs, and architectural drawings.
Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, procurement teams, and site engineers for material approvals.
Ensure all material submittals comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes.
Prepare Material Approval Requests (MARs), technical data sheets, samples, and material compliance documents.
Review architectural drawings and specifications to identify material requirements, discrepancies, and omissions.
Maintain material submittal logs and track approval status, revisions, and resubmissions.
Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely material approvals and deliveries.
Identify quantity discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, and actual project requirements.
Support variation assessments and quantity calculations arising from drawing revisions.
Ensure proper documentation and maintain records of approved materials and technical submissions.
Coordinate with project teams to resolve technical issues related to architectural materials and finishes.
👌Mandatory RequirementsMinimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
Mandatory experience in high-rise building construction and 4-star/5-star hotel projects.
At least 80% of total professional experience must be in high-rise building projects.
Strong expertise in architectural material submittals, quantity take-off, and material approval procedures.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, BOQs, and IFC drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant quantity take-off tools is preferred.
