RENOVIX MEP CONTRACTING CO. is urgently seeking experienced freelance professionals for an LV & MV Substation Testing &
Commissioning Project at the Haram Project, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
⚠️ Mandatory Requirement: Candidates Must be able to provide a valid Ajeer permit
applicable to the project and work arrangement.
🔹 OPEN POSITIONS
⚡ 1. Electrical Testing & Commissioning Engineers – LV & MV Substations
• Required Quantity: 22 Engineers
• Proven experience in LV/MV substations and switchgear testing and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical protection, control systems, and functional testing.
• SEC and/or Aramco approval is highly preferred.
🔌 2. Electrical Technicians
• Experience in electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of LV/MV electrical equipment, switchgear, and substation systems is preferred.
🔧 3. Mechanical Technicians
• Experience in mechanical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance.
• Relevant experience in mechanical systems and construction projects is preferred.
📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – ELECTRICAL T&C ENGINEERS
• Perform testing and commissioning of LV and MV substations.
• Test and commission MV switchgear (MVSG) and LV electrical panels.
• Conduct functional testing of electrical protection, control, and interlocking schemes.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve site-related technical issues.
• Review Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs), Three-Line Diagrams, Control Diagrams, and Wiring Diagrams.
• Verify electrical equipment ratings and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, and site teams.
• Support site inspections, functional testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare testing reports, commissioning records, and technical documentation.
🎯 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• Relevant technical qualifications and proven professional experience.
• Practical experience in LV/MV electrical systems, substations, and switchgear testing and commissioning.
• Good knowledge of electrical protection, control circuits, and substation equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and engineering diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional engineering team.
• SEC and/or Aramco approval is highly preferred for Electrical T&C Engineers.
