El-Seif operation and maintenance is seeking for an experienced and detail-oriented Hard Services Supervisor to oversee the operation, continuous maintenance, and optimal performance of all critical building infrastructure and MEP systems across our facilities.
In this role, you will lead a team of technical specialists, manage preventive and corrective maintenance workflows, ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards, and maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
MEP & Systems Operations: Supervise the operation, servicing, and testing of HVAC, electrical (LV/HV), plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
Maintenance Planning: Manage daily preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and oversee swift execution of corrective actions.
Team Leadership: Direct, assign tasks to, and evaluate on-site technicians, multi-skilled tradespeople, and third-party specialist contractors.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee specialized contractors (e.g., elevators, fire alarm systems, chillers), ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards are fully met.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols, permit-to-work (PTW) systems, risk assessments, and tool-box talks.
Emergency Response: Serve as the first point of escalation for technical failures or building emergencies, ensuring minimal downtime.
Reporting & Auditing: Maintain accurate site logs, technical documentation, asset inventories, and monthly maintenance KPI reports.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in hard FM operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role managing facility services.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent technical certifications).
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and HVAC systems.
Certifications: Professional engineering board registration or safety credentials are highly advantageous.
Key Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, emergency triage skills, contractor oversight, and effective leadership skills.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
