📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia A reputed steel company based in Riyadh is seeking a qualified and experienced Project Engineer to join its growing team.
Roles and Responsibilities – Production Engineer (Structural Steel Fabrication)
• Production Planning: Plan and schedule daily fabrication activities as per project requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Drawing Coordination: Review approved shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs before commencing production.
• Production Supervision: Coordinate cutting, drilling, fitting, welding, grinding, and assembly activities.
• Manpower Management: Allocate workers, welders, and fitters to ensure efficient utilization of manpower.
• Quality Control: Ensure fabrication work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Material Management: Monitor material availability, consumption, traceability, and wastage.
• Progress Monitoring: Track daily production output and prepare progress reports for management.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with factory HSE procedures and safe working practices.
• Equipment Coordination: Monitor the availability and proper utilization of fabrication machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Coordination: Coordinate with the design, procurement, QA/QC, painting, and dispatch teams to avoid production delays.
• Delivery Management: Ensure fabricated steel components are completed, inspected, and prepared for dispatch according to the project schedule.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify production bottlenecks and implement measures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
