I am an Electrical Engineer with more than 15 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, design coordination,Supervision, construction, building services, high-rise buildings, power systems, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan.
My professional experience includes both consultant-side engineering and project execution, providing me with a strong understanding of electrical design, contractor management, technical review, site supervision, quality control, authority coordination, and project delivery.
During my experience with Al Hawara Consultant, Dubai, UAE, I was involved in electrical engineering activities for high-rise and building projects, including the preparation and review of electrical load schedules, electrical design drawings, Central Battery Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, and Low Current / ELV Systems. I also led and coordinated drafting activities, reviewed contractor shop drawings, material submittals and prequalification documents, and participated in site and material inspections.
I have experience coordinating electrical system approvals with DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) and working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. My responsibilities also included attending regular project meetings, monitoring site progress, reviewing technical issues, coordinating approvals, and ensuring that electrical works were executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, I worked as a Lead Electrical Engineer with SRACO on a Saudi Aramco project involving the Security System Upgrade of Pump Stations PS-04, PS-05, PS-06 and PS-07. This experience strengthened my knowledge of Saudi Aramco engineering requirements and included engineering coordination, IFC drawing review, MTO/MR preparation, technical queries, method statements, vendor technical evaluations, material inspections, QA/QC documentation, construction support, and coordination with the Saudi Aramco Project Management Team.
My broader electrical engineering experience covers HV/MV/LV electrical distribution systems, transformers, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, emergency generators, ATS panels, earthing and lightning protection, as well as Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, CCTV, BMS, GRMS, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Audio Intercom, IPTV, Central Battery, Emergency Lighting, and other ELV systems.
Earlier in my career, I also worked with National Transmission & Despatch Company (NTDC), Pakistan, where I gained substantial experience in the operation and maintenance of 500/220/132 kV grid station systems, including power transformers, circuit breakers, instrument transformers, protection systems, testing, switching operations, shutdowns, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
I believe my combination of consultant-side experience, electrical design and design review capabilities, high-rise building experience, KSA project exposure, Saudi Aramco experience, authority coordination, contractor management, and site inspection expertise would allow me to contribute effectively to your projects.
