Job Advertisement – Track Works Manager

We are looking for an experienced Track Works Manager to lead and oversee railway track construction and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all track works to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution in accordance with contractual requirements and railway standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all track construction, renewal, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities.
Plan and supervise track works including ballast, sleepers, rails, turnouts, tamping, alignment, and related infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and railway regulations.
Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality, safety, and client representatives.
Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed within schedule and budget.
Manage subcontractors, workforce allocations, and equipment utilization.
Review construction methodologies, work plans, and resource requirements.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Prepare progress reports and attend client and management meetings.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in railway projects.
At least 5 years of experience in a Track Works Manager or similar leadership role.
Proven experience in railway track construction, maintenance, and renewal projects.
Strong knowledge of track systems, railway standards, and maintenance procedures.
Excellent leadership, planning, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in project scheduling and reporting tools.
