About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience to join our team in Al Khobar, KSA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Material Submittals, advanced proficiency in BIM & Revit, and a proven track record working on High-Rise Towers and Hotel / Hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities
Material Submittals (MARs): Prepare, review, track, and manage technical material submittals, technical compliance sheets, and specs in accordance with project specifications, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and consultant requirements.
BIM & Revit Modeling: Develop, review, and coordinate detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting). Ensure model integrity, LOD compliance, and clash detection using Navisworks.
Technical Design & Coordination: Resolve technical site queries (RFIs), produce detailed shop drawings, and coordinate mechanical services with structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines.
Vendor & Consultant Liaison: Interface with local suppliers, approved vendors, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth material approvals and technical execution on site.
Required Qualifications & Skills
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). SCE (Saudi Council of Engineers) registration is preferred.
⏳ Experience: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Technical / Mechanical Engineer.
🏢 Sector Experience: Proven track record on High-Rise Towers and Hotel / Hospitality projects.
📍 Location: Currently based in KSA (preferably Khobar/Eastern Province) with transferable Iqama.
🛠️ Technical Capabilities:
Deep expertise in Material Submittal review and approval procedures.
Proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks / BIM coordination workflows.
Solid knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, and Drainage systems.
Familiarity with international and local standards (SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, SMACNA, Civil Defense / MCDA regulations).
