RGS Ayurvedic Medical College & Research Centre is a private Ayurvedic institution in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, established in 2022. Located at Village Karaundi, near Itaunja Toll Plaza on Sitapur Road (about 25 km from Charbagh Railway Station and 35 km from Lucknow airport), it sits on a roughly 30-acre campus. It is affiliated with Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University, Gorakhpur, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), the Ministry of AYUSH, and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The college offers the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme, a 5.5-year course (4.5 years of academics plus one year of compulsory internship) with an intake of 100 seats. Admission is through NEET-UG followed by Uttar Pradesh Ayush NEET counselling. Eligibility typically requires 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and biology (and English) and meeting the prescribed percentage criteria.

Infrastructure supports both academic and clinical training. The campus includes well-equipped physiology and anatomy labs with a dissection hall and museum, classrooms, and a library of more than 5,000 books spanning about 2,700 square feet with high-speed internet. Separate hostels with mess facilities are available for boys and girls. A large playground and canteen are present; an auditorium and a 100-bed wellness centre focused on Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy and related therapies have been planned or are under development.

Clinical exposure comes through the attached multi-storey hospital (around 72,000–80,000 sq ft) with 120 beds across six wards. Facilities include major and minor operation theatres, ICU, NICU, 24-hour emergency services, digital X-ray, ultrasound, pathology lab, and a Panchakarma centre. Specialities covered include Kayachikitsa, Shalya, Shalakya, Prasuti & Stri Roga, Kaumarbhritya, and Swasthavritta. OPD hours are generally 9 am–4 pm (with a lunch break), and emergency care runs round the clock.

The faculty comprises regular Ayurveda professors supplemented by guest lectures from modern medical institutions in Lucknow. The college emphasises integration of classical Ayurvedic principles with contemporary diagnostics and research. Recent activities include student research achievements (such as a CCRAS-SPARK scholarship) and recognition for senior staff, reflecting an early focus on academic and clinical quality despite the institution’s relatively recent founding.
