I am writing to express my strong interest in the Senior Pre-Press Specialist & Large Format Print Operator position at your esteemed organization in Riyadh. With over 22+ years of hands-on experience in the printing industry—including 18 successful years right here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia—I specialize in artwork optimization, print-ready file preparation, and industrial machine operations.
I want to clarify that my core strength lies in Pre-Press Engineering and Production Workflow rather than conceptual creative design. I excel at taking raw PDF or vector artworks provided by clients or creative designers, thoroughly editing them, scaling them to exact production sizes, and ensuring they are flawless before hitting the print bed.
Throughout my career, I have developed deep technical expertise in operating Large Format Inkjet Printers, UV Flatbed Machines, and Plotter Cutting tools. I am highly proficient in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW specifically for file verification, paneling, bleeding, and layout nesting. Additionally, I am expert in managing leading RIP software such as flexiprint, Onyx and RasterLink to achieve perfect color management and efficient material utilization.
Key highlights of my profile include:
• 22+ Years of Practical Production Experience: Extensive knowledge of different printing materials (acrylic, wood, foam board, vinyl, flex) and their structural behavior.
• Pre-Press & Resizing Expertise: Flawless editing of client-provided PDFs, color corrections, vector separation, and exact scaling for high-volume corporate orders.
• Language & Coordination: Fluent in Arabic (Read, Write, Speak) and English, which allows me to perfectly understand local client requirements and handle print approvals smoothly.
• Immediate Availability: Based in Riyadh with a Transferable Iqama, ready to join your production team immediately.
I have attached my updated CV and a detailed Professional Production Index for your review. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my decades of local technical experience can ensure error-free, high-speed output for your production line.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Nowshad Basheer
