KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Steel Tower Erection Technician:
• Assemble and erect steel transmission towers as per approved drawings, erection procedures and specifications
• Work safely at height on tower structures, including climbing, bolting and fitting of members
• Carry out bolt tightening, torque checks and alignment of tower members
• Assist in rigging, lifting and positioning of tower sections using cranes and other lifting equipment
• Inspect tools, fall protection gear and lifting equipment before use
• Follow SEC safety rules, including 100% tie-off and PPE compliance
Steel Tower Erection Supervisor:
• Supervise and lead tower erection crews, riggers and technicians at site
• Plan daily erection activities as per approved drawings, method statements and lifting plans
• Ensure quality of erection work, including alignment, bolt tightening and torque requirements
• Coordinate with engineers, QA/QC, survey and safety teams, as well as client representatives
• Maintain daily progress reports, material records and crew records
• Enforce HSE rules and SEC Life Saving Rules, and conduct toolbox talks and site safety checks
REQUIREMENTS:-
For All Positions:
• Relevant experience in the applied position in GCC/KSA (compulsory)
• Minimum required certification for the position (compulsory)
• Valid SEC approval / SEC Vendor Training Card (CSCC11 Work at Heights) (compulsory)
• Valid Iqama with transferable status (compulsory)
• Candidates who can join immediately will be given priority
• Experience on transmission line or substation projects is a plus
Steel Tower Erection Technician:
• Valid Work at Height / Fall Protection certification
• Experience in steel tower erection and bolt tightening works
• Basic knowledge of rigging and lifting operations
Steel Tower Erection Supervisor:
• Valid safety certification (OSHA / NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Proven experience supervising steel tower erection crews
• Knowledge of rigging, lifting plans and erection methods
• Ability to read tower drawings and prepare site reports
• Good English communication; Arabic is an advantage
