🏗️ Project: Superblock Five – High-Rise Luxury Hotel Towers
China Railway 18th Bureau Group (CR18G) is seeking an experienced Senior Bar Bending Schedule (BBS) Engineer for a major high-rise luxury hotel development in Medina.
🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare, review, and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for reinforced concrete structural elements.
Analyze structural drawings and reinforcement details for columns, beams, slabs, walls, foundations, and transfer structures.
Calculate reinforcement quantities, bar lengths, shapes, laps, bends, and cutting lists.
Coordinate with structural engineers, site teams, rebar detailers, and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies.
Check reinforcement quantities against approved drawings and minimize material wastage.
Ensure BBS submissions comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards.
Support quantity reconciliation, steel procurement, and reinforcement planning.
🎯 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Direct high-rise tower construction experience is mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience in BBS preparation and reinforcement quantity calculations.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
Excellent ability to read and interpret structural drawings and reinforcement details.
Experience with complex reinforced concrete structures and mega-projects is preferred.
Knowledge of relevant structural codes and BBS software/tools is an advantage.
