JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in HSE / Safety, preferably in housing, villa, residential, or building construction projects.
- Must possess a valid NEBOSH IGC certification.
- Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA 30-Hour Construction, First Aid, and Fire Safety are an advantage.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's occupational health and safety regulations and construction safety standards.
- Familiarity with Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Permit to Work (PTW), and incident investigation.
- Ability to conduct toolbox talks, safety orientations, site inspections, and safety audits.
- Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with project HSE requirements.
- Must be willing to work at a construction project site in Riyadh.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Implement and monitor the project's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
2. Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
3. Ensure workers comply with PPE requirements and established safety procedures.
4. Conduct toolbox meetings and safety awareness sessions.
5. Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
6. Monitor high-risk activities, including working at height, scaffolding, excavation, lifting operations, and electrical works.
7. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
8. Monitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.
9. Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety documentation.
10. Coordinate with construction teams and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC).
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- First Aid, CPR, and Fire Safety Training.
- Experience working on large-scale residential or villa construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
