Position
Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Qualification Requirements
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Maintenance.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, preferably in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or manufacturing industries.
Required Skills
• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with pumps, compressors, gearboxes, bearings, seals, valves, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and alignment tools.
• Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
Scope of Work
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on plant mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and static equipment.
• Execute assigned maintenance work orders and maintain maintenance records.
• Comply with all safety requirements, including PTW and LOTO procedures.
• Support plant reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
