Job Description
Averroës Academy is seeking an experienced and qualified Computer Training & Development Specialist to develop, organize, and deliver professional computer and IT training programs at the Academy.
The candidate must have proven professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, computer training, or a related technical field, with strong expertise in developing structured training programs, designing professional course curricula, and delivering practical, industry-relevant technical instruction.
The role involves developing course structures, preparing training materials, organizing technical training programs, and delivering engaging training sessions that meet current industry requirements and technological developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver professional computer and IT training programs.
- Design structured course outlines, curricula, lesson plans, and training materials.
- Identify relevant computer and IT subjects based on industry requirements and learner needs.
- Conduct practical training sessions, demonstrations, exercises, and technical projects.
- Develop training programs for students, graduates, and working professionals.
- Organize and coordinate computer training courses and related academic activities.
- Ensure course content remains aligned with current technologies and industry practices.
- Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain training quality and follow the Academy's course delivery standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, computer training, or a related technical field (mandatory).
- Previous experience in developing and delivering professional computer training programs (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience in developing course structures, curricula, lesson plans, and professional training materials.
- Practical experience in teaching or delivering technical training sessions.
- Strong technical knowledge across relevant computer and IT disciplines.
- Experience in planning, organizing, and managing professional training courses.
- Ability to deliver practical, engaging, and industry-oriented technical instruction.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Strong presentation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to the development of the Academy's Computer Department.
- Availability to deliver in-person training sessions at the Academy's campus in Riyadh is mandatory.
