Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Banking Test Engineers with strong expertise in Lending solutions and Core Banking platforms. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), and Temenos T24 testing. Experience with Newgen lending platforms will be considered a strong advantage.
The candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end lending workflows, executing functional and integration testing, supporting SIT/UAT activities, and ensuring the quality of banking applications within lending and core banking environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Functional, SIT, Regression, and UAT testing for banking and lending applications.
Validate end-to-end lending workflows across LOS and LMS platforms.
Test loan origination, loan processing, underwriting, disbursement, repayment, restructuring, and closure processes.
Execute test scenarios related to Temenos T24 modules.
Analyze business requirements, BRDs, and functional specifications.
Prepare test plans, test cases, test data, and execution reports.
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure adequate test coverage.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to release validation activities.
Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities.
Mandatory Skills
Strong Banking Domain experience.
Hands-on experience with:
Temenos T24 (Mandatory)
Lending Domain
Loan Origination System (LOS)
Loan Management System (LMS)
Experience in Functional Testing and SIT/UAT.
Good understanding of Core Banking processes.
Experience in test case preparation, execution, and defect management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Newgen Lending Platform experience.
Experience with Retail Lending and Commercial Lending products.
Exposure to API testing and integration testing.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Experience with Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
5+ years of software testing experience.
Minimum 3+ years of Banking and Lending domain experience.
Proven experience working with Temenos T24 implementations and/or testing projects.
Additional Advantage
Candidates having exposure to the following banking domains will be highly preferred:
