Job Description
We are looking for skilled Shuttering Carpenters to perform formwork and shuttering activities for concrete structures, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret structural drawings and formwork layouts.
Prepare, cut, measure, and install timber, plywood, and other formwork materials.
Construct and install shuttering for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and other concrete structures.
Ensure formwork is properly aligned, levelled, secured, and adequately supported.
Install props, braces, ties, and supports to withstand concrete pouring loads.
Check dimensions, elevations, and alignment before concrete pouring.
Apply formwork release agents as required.
Coordinate with steel fixers, concrete teams, and site supervisors.
Carry out formwork dismantling after the required concrete curing period and approval.
Clean, maintain, and reuse formwork materials where applicable.
Follow project quality standards and all site HSE requirements.
Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working practices.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Shuttering Carpenter / Formwork Carpenter.
Experience in RCC construction, including foundations, columns, beams, and slabs.
Good knowledge of formwork installation, alignment, levelling, and support systems.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings is preferred.
Familiarity with carpentry tools and formwork materials.
Ability to work at heights and follow site safety procedures.
Physically fit and capable of performing construction site duties.
Previous experience in large-scale construction or industrial projects is an advantage.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
