Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Management Executive / Officer to manage inventory, stores operations, material handling, and ERP-based inventory control processes.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in inventory management, material receipts and issues, stock reconciliation, variance analysis, and reporting within the steel manufacturing or related industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end inventory and stores operations.
Handle material receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy across all locations.
Conduct periodic inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits.
Analyze inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
Maintain inventory records and transactions using ERP systems.
Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, and Project teams for material planning.
Ensure proper material handling, storage, and inventory control procedures.
Prepare inventory, stock movement, and reconciliation reports.
Develop and maintain reporting tools using Power BI, VBA, and MS Office.
Support purchasing, inventory, and material management activities.
Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
3–6 years of relevant inventory management experience.
Steel manufacturing or related industry experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Good understanding of Supply Chain Management, including:
Purchasing
Inventory Management
Material Management
Hands-on experience in inventory control, stock management, stores operations, material handling, and stock reconciliation.
Experience in material receipt and issue processes.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of Power BI and VBA reporting tools.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
Educational Qualification
Diploma in Engineering, OR
B.Com, OR
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Master's Degree is an advantage.
